Clean and Affordable Energy for All Day of Action

Indianapolis Power & Light wants to raise our electric bills. IPL is wasting our money and harming our planet - expecting us to foot the bill for a fracked-gas power plant that is not needed and propping up the super-polluting Petersburg coal plant in southern Indiana. We are coming together to ensure that our electricity is 100% renewable, affordable, and creates good green jobs here, locally.

Join us on Saturday, March 10, 10:00 AM - 2:00 pm at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (1301 North Goodlet Avenue). We will hear from Pastor Booker Vance, who led a winning fight in Illinois for the Future Energy Jobs Act, which moved Illinois closer to 100% renewable energy and created thousands of clean energy jobs in low-income communities. Second, we will go knock doors and talk to Indy residents about IPL's proposed rate hikes and what we can do about it. If door-to-door isn't your cup of tea you will be able to make calls or write letters to the editor.

Lunch will be provided at noon for those staying to take action and get the word out in Indianapolis!
