Managing Water Pollution from Storm Runoff in the Kokomo Area

IMG_4555.jpgOn Thursday, March 8th, Kokomo Creation Care, an affiliate of Hoosier Interfaith Power and Light, will be hosting a meeting with Sarah Brichford, Field Technician for the Howard County StormwaterDistrict, as guest speaker.  She will focus on stormwater management in the county and how it impacts water quality.  She will review some of the water quality challenges driven by climate change. She will help us understand some of the local management tools used to help prevent water pollution from storm runoff.

Kokomo Creation Care, an affiliate of Hoosier Interfaith Power and Light, will be hosting a meeting informing us on Water Quality and Storm Management Challenges in Howard County on Thursday, March 8th, at Christ Lutheran Church in Kokomo.

 

 The meeting will take place at Christ Lutheran Church at 7 pm. 

3401 S. Dixon Rd., Kokomo, Indiana

Fellowship and refreshments may be enjoyed at 6:45 pm.   

We welcome people from all faith communities as well as interested individuals. Our goal is to explore ways to be better stewards of the Earth.  This event is free and open to the public.
